The New Year is coming! It's such an exciting time of the year. I can feel the excitement in the air. Everyone is getting ready for this special day. My family and I have been busy decorating our home. We put up colorful lights, balloons, and a big shiny star on the Christmas tree.
I also made a New Year card for my teacher. On the card, I drew a picture of a happy sun with smiling clouds. I wrote "Happy New Year" inside because I want to wish her a great new year. She always helps me learn new things, so I wanted to thank her.
On New Year's Eve, we will have a big dinner with my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. There will be delicious food like dumplings, fish, and noodles. After dinner, we watch fireworks together. The sky looks so beautiful when the fireworks light it up.
I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year. I want to make more friends and get better at reading books. This year is going to be full of fun and learning!
