My name is Li Hua. I am a student in Grade 3. Today, I want to talk about my favorite subject — English.

I like English because it is very interesting. In class, we learn new words, sing songs, and play games. Sometimes, we even act out short stories. It makes me feel happy and excited every day.

Learning English helps me a lot. I can read simple books and understand what people say. I also enjoy watching English cartoons and learning new things from them. My teacher says that speaking English is important, so I try to practice every day. Even at home, I speak English with my parents when I can.

Sometimes, I feel nervous when I have to speak in front of many people. But I remember my teacher’s words: “Practice makes perfect.” So I keep trying, and I believe I will get better and better.

In the future, I hope to travel to other countries and meet new friends. I think knowing English will help me a lot. I will never stop learning and improving my English skills.
