【My（winter及holiday英语作文）】Winter is a special time of the year. It brings cold weather, snow, and a sense of peace. My winter holiday was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. Although it was short, it was full of joy and happiness.

During the winter break, I spent most of my time with my family. We went to the countryside for a few days. The air was fresh, and the scenery was beautiful. There was snow everywhere, and we even made a small snowman. It was fun to play in the snow and enjoy the quiet atmosphere.

I also used some time to study. Although it was a holiday, I didn’t want to waste the time completely. I reviewed some of the lessons I learned during the school term and prepared for the new semester. It helped me feel more confident about the upcoming classes.

Another thing I enjoyed was cooking with my grandmother. She taught me how to make traditional Chinese food like dumplings and rice cakes. It was interesting to learn new skills and spend quality time with her. We talked a lot and shared stories from our past.

In the evenings, I often read books or watched movies. It was a good way to relax and escape from the busy life. I also kept a journal where I wrote down my thoughts and feelings during the holiday. It helped me reflect on what I had done and what I wanted to do next.
